Find information about the computing resources we provide for students and members of the public. This link also provides details about printers, photocopiers, and microform readers.
This link takes you to a list of all the databases and indexes that are available to CU students and/or the public. The databases provide access to cases, journal articles, newspapers and reference materials such as dictionaries and encyclopedias. (Note that the databases listed are available from Law School and Law Library locations only, see "Accessing Electronic Resources" for information on connecting from off-site)
We offer photocopy and fax services for patrons outside of the city of Boulder. Follow this link to see our rates and learn how to place a document delivery order.

The law library reference desk is staffed by professional librarians who can help students, faculty, staff, and members of the public learn how to use the library and our legal research resources. Follow this link for more details on the types of assistance our reference librarians can provide.
Use this link to access quick reference guides to a variety of topics that many patrons commonly have questions about. Other topics specific to the law library are also included, such as a location guide and details about printing.
Use these links to search the law library's course reserves by the name of the course or by your professor's name. To get these materials, take the course and professor name to the circulation desk and ask for the item from "course reserve" (this is different from our permanent reserve books).
Login to your law library account (MyLawpac). When you're logged in, you can renew your books, view your preferred searches and more.
Note that this is not the same account as your Norlin library account.
Use this link to search Chinook, the Norlin Library's catalog. You'll find books and journal titles (but not journal articles - just like Lawpac). You can also search Chinook from within Lawpac: after you run a search, you'll see a button to run the same search in Chinook, just click it to see if Norlin has any helpful materials.
The fastest way to get materials from Norlin is to go to the library, located in the northwest part of campus, north of the UMC and ATLAS building.
Use this link to search Prospector, a catalog of many Colorado libraries, including CSU, DU and Boulder Public Library. You'll find books and journal titles (but not journal articles - just like Lawpac). You can also search Prospector from within Lawpac: after you run a search, you'll see a button to run the same search in Prospector, just click it to see if any library in Colorado has materials you'd like to use.
To request an item click the "request this item" link. Select UC-Boulder Law as your home library and login using your Identikey name and password under "Login with campus identification". You'll see a confirmation of your request. In about a week, you'll get an email from the law library circulation department letting you know your book, DVD or other item has arrived.
You can search over a billion items in OCLC Worldcat, a catalog of thousands of libraries around the world. There are two places to search: Worldcat.org, a free web service and OCLC FirstSearch, a licensed database that allows you to submit interlibrary loan requests directly to the law library.
Worldcat.org is slightly easier to search, though there are some libraries that are not included. FirstSearch includes all of the library materials in Worldcat, but is not as easy to search - it's also not free: you'll need to login if you're off campus.
Wise Researcher will simultaneously search multiple research databases with a single search.
Use the Quick Search box for simultaneous searching in: Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, Digital Dissertations, HeinOnline, Index to Legal Periodicals, JSTOR, LAWPAC, LegalTrac, Prospector and Social Sciences Full Text.
Expand or limit your search by clicking on 'Basic WR Search' or 'Advanced WR Search'
